Grado SR125i Headphones Review - A Quality Deal for the Money

Any music aficionado will tell you the best way to get the true representation of recorded music is to listen through an outstanding pair of headphones. After searching for a great quality pair that isn't ridiculously overpriced, I have found what I consider to be the perfect pair -- the Grado SR125i headphones.

These headphones are extremely lightweight, so I can wear them for hours without needing to give my head or ears a break. They have a great, high fidelity sound, and amazing clarity and range. The vented diaphragm and non-resonant air chamber features really do help the sound detail, and the decent length of cord allows me to move about more freely as I listen to my favorite tunes.

A soft, malleable headband that is extremely comfortable for longer listening sessions.

I admittedly have eclectic taste in music, and I've been pleasantly surprised each time I listen to any music genre through these headphones. The subtle nuances I've never noticed before come through clearly, with deep notes and intricate musical interchanges distinct and audible. There was a brief "breaking in" period for the cushions of the headphones. They were a bit stiff for my liking when I first took them out of the packaging. But, with some wear, they broke in nicely, and now feel as if they were custom-made for my ears. Also, the malleable headband is a nice feature, because I could maneuver it to fit my head exactly, without being too tight or too loose. I wear them for hours at a time without feeling any strain or pressure. The only drawback is that the set doesn't come with an adapter for an MP3 player, but one can easily be purchased separately, and was not a huge problem for me. Shop around if you must, and do your homework before purchasing a good quality pair of headphones. But, I highly recommend the Grado SR125i headphones, and I think once you try on a pair, you'll be happy with them, too. I think they're an excellent deal for the price, and they've definitely changed my way of listening to music forever!
