HILTON NEW DELHI/JANAKPURI PARTICIPATES IN THE ‘LET'S DO IT! DELHI' A UNIQUE INITIATIVE TO CLEAN DELHI

Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri - in association with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi

(MCD) and citizens of Delhi today participated in 'Let's do it! Delhi',a cleanliness challenge to make Delhi sustainably clean and litter free and to spruce up the city for the Commonwealth Games. As a part of the Clean Delhi drive, Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri identified 'Janakpuri District centre" area to participate in the removal of litter, garbage and other water receptacles in the area. The members of the Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri were given garbage bags and gloves to clean up the complex and make it litter-free, and the entire exercise was attended by more than 150 team members. Present at the clean up drive was Mayor, Shri Prithvi Raj Sawhney, along with other members of the New Delhi Municipal Cooperation. The Mayor expressed confidence that positive change will happen. He also said that this challenge is the first step towards collective action to achieve our common goal of improved sanitation.
