to support their new family, which means that they have to look at alternative means of childcare for their child. More often than not, the families look at obtaining childcare through a nursery or child care centre. However, more and more families are starting to look into hiring a live in nanny to look after the apple of their eye.

Most people misunderstand nannies, they are not going to be like Nanny McPhee or Mary Poppins, but they can provide you with an essential service while your child is growing up if you have to return to work to earn additional income or revenue.

Hiring a live in nanny can be an important and tough decision to take for a family when looking into childcare. Most families will assume that they can't afford to hire a live in nanny. However, if they actually bothered to look into the cost effect that a family will incur because of hiring a nanny, then they would actually find that there is serious cost savings that could be made from having a permanent nanny at the residence.

Obviously, when you hire a nanny to live at your residence, the wage that you pay them is subsidised in part by the fact that they obtain free accommodation within your house. You do have to provide the nanny with a wage as well, but the cost can in some cases be greatly reduced from obtaining daily care at some nurseries. Again another thing to remember would be the increase that you may experience through household items. Obviously the bill for your grocery shop will increase, as may some of your utility bills. In effect you will have an extra adult living in the house using the resources and amenities, so you need to be prepared for a small increase in your bills.

What you will obtain from your live in nanny is a dedicated care service for your child. They will be looked after and care for and given one to one attention, which is more than you can say they will obtain at any child care centre.
