The eAssist technology allows drivers to achieve excellent fuel efficiency without having to sacrifice the premium driving experience that the LaCrosse and Regal deliver. The Regal is powered by a 2.4-liter direct injected four cylinder engine which is good for 182 horsepower and is available at your Hoolywood, FL Buick dealer with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Both engines pack in the power and with the new eAssist system, will retain this powerful performance while improving gas mileage by as much as 25%.

The system will work in together with a 2.4-liter Ecotec direct injection four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission to optimize fuel economy by 25%. The car retains its powerful performance that is capable of delivering 182 horsepower with the help of the 15 horsepower of electrical assistance the eAssist technology provides.

The eAssist technology will be standard on all 2012 Buick and LaCrosse models and will likely carry over to other Buick models.
