How To Do A Whole Body Medicine Ball Workout
There are literally dozens of different machines that people use in order to work out different parts of their body
. There are also other items that can be used in order to do many different exercises. One of these is the medicine ball, and whilst this is a rather underrated piece of equipment, it is possible to use to get an entire body workout. Here are some ideas on how to get an entire body medicine ball workout.
First of all, you can use the medicine ball to work out your arms. You can do both your biceps and triceps using your medicine ball. In order to work out your biceps, simply hold the medicine ball in both hands down at your waist, and then do a bicep curl bringing it up to your chest or neck.
For your triceps, hold the medicine ball high above your head in both hands and then bend your arms at the elbow bringing the medicine ball behind your head and flex your triceps.
Of course, the chest is another very important part of your body to keep trim and toned. One exercise would be simply by using the ball for press ups, or you could do the reverse and lie on the ground and use the ball for bench presses.
If you are looking to exercise your back using the medicine ball, this is also possible. Much like with your triceps, hold the ball above your head in both hands and bring it down to your chest instead of the back of your neck.
Last of all, in order to get a leg workout, you can simply hold the ball for added body weight when doing exercises such as squats, jumping jacks, or lunges.
