Traffic is a big problem for a lot of marketers especially newbies who are just starting out. As well all know, traffic is the livelihood of any online business and without traffic we basically will make no money. Worry not though because things can be different and in this article I am going to give you some free tips to help you get tons of targeted traffic to your website for free!

Tips #1 - The first thing you need to do is to make sure that your website is targeting a specific niche. Therefore, proper market research is a must as it allows you to find the best keywords to target with your website.

Tip #2 - Post articles to your website that targets long tailed keywords. This is one way to get traffic for the long term. More quality articles means that more people will get to your websites overtime for more keywords. Although a single article will not get you huge amounts of traffic, when you add them up you'll be flooding your website with targeted visitors. J An example could be getting at least 5 visits per day from every article you write and post on your website!

Tip #3 - Submit your website to the top social bookmarking websites. This method will not only get you tons of visitors but it will also help you to rank better in the search engines due to the backlink power you will receive.

Tips #4 - Write quality articles and then post them to top article directories and place a link in the resource box to your website. The concept of this method is to get your readers excited and so after they are done reading the article they will want to get more information from you. Thus they will click through your resource box to get to your website.

Tip #5 - Turn your articles into powerpoint slides and then turn them into videos. After the videos are finished, you can upload them to video sharing sites with a link to your website in the description field.

So the above 5 tips should help you get lots of targeted visitors to your websites for free. Now what you need to understand is that traffic is not an one time thing and so you need to be taking action on a regular basis. So I challenge you to carry out the above steps for at least 30 days and not get a ton of traffic to your websites.
