How To Grow A Dream Inside You And Convert To Reality
Many times we say that he or she "is lucky", "has supreme athletic capability", "was born a genius" or something like that when someone got success in any field. But truely speaking, success, wealth and happiness do not come from luck. All accomplishments start from dreams and few people convert those dreams into reality. The great structures we work in, the agricultural enterprises that feed us, the industries that entertain us, the institutions that educate and inspire evolved from the ideas and dreams of productive individuals.
When we see a successful business, school, entertainment or political institution, we are looking at an individual's dream grown into reality.
Think of life as a garden. At one time, the great valleys of California were deserts. But some people with dreams saw the "useless" land as irrigated areas used to grow food people need. Now, can we imagine California as a big desert?
But the million dollar question is, "How can I grow a dream inside me?" Let me clarify you the process. Growing a dream into success is like growing a garden. There are six steps to grow your dream garden:
1. Select your dream seed
2. Prepare your mind to accept the seed
3. Plant your dream seed
4. Nourish your dream
5. Focus on your strength.
6. Hire time to work for you
I'll briefly discuss the above steps.
1. Select your dream seed
Seeds always grow their own kind. Lemon seeds always grow lemon trees, not apple. A dream seed also grows its own kind. Ask yourself a few questions, "What do I want to do", "What is the profit potential of the dream?" & "How can my dream impact peoples' life?" Write down the answers in a piece of paper. You'll get your seed.
2. Prepare your mind to accept the seed
If you prepare soil in a garden before planting, the seeds will grow better. You just received a dream seed in the previous step. It will grow better if you prepare your mindset. Be proud of yourself that you have developed a unique dream seed. Associate with people who also have dreams in their mind. Put your mind away from discouragement, defeat & disappointment. Wash away memories that hold you back. Develop a mental image of your dream. The clearer image you have of your dream, the more enthusiastic about it you will become.
3. Plant your dream seed
Take action. Start "Right now". Nothing will happen unless you start taking action physically according to your dream. And most importantly don't wait for the perfect condition. The time is "Now".
4. Nourish your dream seed
Your dream also requires nutrition- imagination, encouragement and ideas to grow and make you prosperous. Affiliate with people who are comfortable earning large incomes and who are determined to acquire even more net worth. As you grow your dreams, surround yourself with positive people. It takes great effort to separate from negative people. If your dream is strong enough, you can do it easily. Divorce yourself from those who want to see your dream die.
5. Focus on your strength
Get a pen & paper. Keep yourself away from all the distraction. Switch off your cell phone, turn off your computer. Now think about your strengths and write it down. Find a way how you can employ your strength towards your dream. Start developing a thinking habit, "I will get what I want, I have unlimited strength."
6. Hire time to work for you
It takes time to get the result. Success doesn't come overnight. It requires continuous effort and action. Just continue the previous five steps; your dream will come true any time.
Finally I want to tell converting dream to reality requires accomplishing a set of processes and you must enjoy the process in order to enjoy the outcome.
