How To Market Your MLM Business - What The Big Dogs Are Doing

What people are told to do is the same old system of making a list of their friends, family and co-workers, buy lots of company "stuff" like banners, brochures, DVDs, and business cards, and then hand them out along with expensive product samples to anyone who will take them. If you have been doing this and are still trying to figure out how to market your MLM business so you're really building and making some serious money -- that is no surprise.
It is no surprise because those techniques are ineffective and outdated, and really need to be brought up to speed. So if you want to really know how to market your MLM business, then you need to be willing to forget about this whole way and mentality as your strategy for building your business. Instead, you need to do what the top earners in your company are already doing.
The top earners -- the cream of the crop -- are using direct response marketing techniques and applying them to network marketing. This basically revolves around the concept of putting a message in front of your audience that ultimately solves a problem that they have. This can be broken up into three phases -- using these three phases correctly is how you market your MLM business.
Think about it. If you place a targeted ad online and take those who click on it to a data capture page that does nothing but collect leads, then you know without a shadow of a doubt that those leads are looking for the solution that you are offering (and can give them). Think of this as Phase 1 of three critical phases. Once they enter into your "marketing funnel," then the next phase begins.
This second phase is all about building and culminating a relationship with your prospects. I know when you were taught how to market your MLM business originally, you were probably told that all the house parties etc were building relationships. The only - but key - difference between this approach and speaking with anyone with a pulse is that you're only speaking with people who have an interest in what you got.
You're also allowing yourself to use the power of technology to speak with the masses by just sending an email. The magic is that it truly allows you to leverage your time and be truly efficient, because now you're in a position to take 20-30 minutes to write an email and you've communicated with thousands of prospects who already want what you got (which you know because they've all opted in!).
The third, and equally crucial, phase is monetizing this list you're creating. Let's not lie to ourselves, when you are wanting to know how to market your MLM business, you really want to know is how to make more money in your MLM business.
So how to market your MLM business and turn your list into profits, actually can be done in a few different ways. You can host teleconferences, webinars or send out offers via email and your website. These are some of the foremost techniques.
This phase is only effective, however, when the first two phases are done properly. Everything builds on each other like a 20-story high rise.
If Phases 1 and 2 don't come together properly, then it's virtually impossible to make money using your list. If Phases 1 and 2 aren't coming together, it is for one of two reasons: (1) you didn't target the right audience to opt-in to your list, or (2) you didn't create an adequate relationship with the prospects who opted in to your list.
One helpful pointer to make this work for you is to be very careful about what you send out to your list in terms of emails. Don't send nothing but offers to them. You want to frequently weave in high-quality content that has no strings attached. Make these three Phases work, and you will never again have to wonder how to market your MLM business again.
