Everywhere in the world, rituals are performed to help people communicate with their Creator

. This is as ancient as time itself. Many times these rituals cover the true meaning of spirituality. Many times it is an excuse to treat others in a way that you would not like to be treated. That is why in order to understand how to pray to God, you have to study how to have the right attitude.

It is said that actions speak louder than words. This is true in our everyday world and it is also true in the spiritual world. It's not enough to believe, you have to do something to show that you believe. This takes prayer to a whole new level, because talking to God not merely a ritual for you. It is a way of your everyday life.

Think about the friends that you have. Is it enough that they say they are your friends? Do you expect them to be there for you through thick and thin? Do they expect the same from you? Do you do things for your friends to show that you are friendly? In this case talking is not enough, they need to show that they are friends.

Do you know what you have to do in order to communicate with God through your actions? It is quite simple and does not require huge changes and upsets to your life. There are many ways to go about this, but two principles in particular are very important.

One of the most important things to remember is to be grateful for everything that you have. You should also be grateful for where you are at this point in your life. When you complain, you are not in harmony with the laws of the universe. The Creator sees this and cannot do much for you if you are showing a lack of gratitude.

Obedience is another thing that is needed for effective communication with God. There are many who want to do their own thing. Everyone has to make their own choices. Yet you must keep in mind that it is useless to talk to God wanting direction and then turn around and do the opposite of what you know to be right.

When you know how to pray to God through your actions, this shows that you are a friend of God. You expect loyalty from your friends and those closest to you. God is not so far away that loyalty does not matter to Him. He wants to see that you are not just talking but actually living the talk as well.
