You are a smoker, and as such you have noticed the growing stigma against smoking

Your friends and family members all constantly talk about how your smoking habit makes you smell bad, how it makes your teeth stained, and how it makes your breath smell like garbage. There are even websites that can offer advice on the subject, and even forums of people just like you who are trying to quit smoking. This way you have a group of people who are in the same boat as you that you can relate to. After all, knowing that you have support is helpful in almost any uphill battle.
It is also a good idea for you talk to your doctor about possibly using nicotine gums and patches to try and ween yourself off of nicotine. However, you need to keep in mind that these quit smoking aids are not to be relied on completely, as your will power is the most important weapon you have against nicotine cravings.
Remember, to quit smoking is one of the greatest tests of willpower on the planet, as you are trying to kill an addiction, so just remember that if you occasionally backslide and smoke to not be too hard on yourself.
