How to Get Ripped - How to Keep Yourself from Getting Bored
So you want to get ripped, huh? Well, before that can happen you must already be working out and you must be already in shape. Now, if you're not yet conditioned or if you haven't been working out hard enough to get your body fat down to a certain percentage, stick with me as you can still get valuable information from this.
Getting lean is really not that difficult. As you may already know, one of the keys to shedding fat lies in the food you eat. And that's where one of the biggest challenges comes in.
Not only should you watch what you put inside your mouth, but you should also be able to fight off the boredom that comes with a limited range of food choices and what you have to do every single day to enable your body to make some changes (i.e, lose some body fat and lean out). This is considered by many as one of the hardest hurdles to overcome.
What you have to keep in mind is this...
If you don't care about the delicacy of all these meal plans, you will actually be hindering yourself from achieving your goal of getting ripped.
So, what can you do to keep yourself from getting bored with the food you eat?
Well, one thing you can do is to rotate your food around. For example, you can have chicken one day (for all your meals), then you can have turkey the next day, then fish the day after that, then back to chicken the following day, and so on and so forth.
Now, you can put cucumbers, apples, and celery (which are alkalines) so you won't go too acidic since you're not getting a whole lot of carbohydrates from other sources. You can also have a little bit of white rice and a little bit of sweet potato when you're feeling you're a little too low on carbohydrates. You should play around with that. You have to make sure that you don't go too low on carbohydrates. Keep in mind that you want to be ripped, not skinny. There's a big difference between those two. If you go too low on carbs you are going to look skinny. If you're in the program to lose weight, that's probably what you want to do. But if you want to get ripped, getting too low on carbohydrates is definitely not the way to go.
Anyway, if you keep your diet that way, rest assured you will start seeing changes on your body very soon. This alone could help a lot in keeping you motivated.
But, yes, the fact remains that your food choices are not as expansive as you might like them to be. And that can have a pretty big impact on your attitude towards what you're doing (e.g., getting sick of what you're eating day in day out).
For that, you can be creative with how you cook or prepare your food. You can use those salt-free seasoning that comes in a wide variety of flavors (e.g., cajun, barbecue, lemon pepper, etc.). You can broil or barbecue your food. Just be conscious enough to stay away from junk stuff and never to eat fried foods. The bottom line here is you can get creative with your spices, it's just that you can't get creative with your protein choices.
