Identifying Why You Want A Girlfriend

When I ask most guys, why do you want to learn how to get better with women

, they almost always respond with something along the lines of, "I want a girlfriend." And then, when I ask them why they want one, they usually don't have an answer. If they do have an answer, it is usually a pretty vague and generic one. It may seem like something you don't have to do, but if you really want to see success in this area of your life, you should identify why you want one.

Let me explain why.

When a guy says that he just wants a girlfriend, that doesn't really paint much of a picture of what he really wants. Basically, any woman out there can fit that criteria. So, usually, most men end up attracting a girlfriend, but they still feel kind of unfulfilled even though they now have what they supposedly wanted. Of course, had they had a better idea of why they wanted a girlfriend, they would probably not feel so unfulfilled.

The more descriptive that you can be of what you want and why you want it, the more likely it is that you are going to actually get it. Like I said, when you just say that you want a girlfriend, any woman can fit that criteria. When you say that you want to have someone that you can experience fun with, romance with, sex with, etc. that starts to filter out a lot of women and you will actually have a much better chance of attracting the kind of woman who can embody all of those things.

Another thing that happens when you identify why you want a girlfriend, is that you can see if you are coming from a place of desperation or not. Most guys really want a girlfriend because they feel lonely without one. However, you are still going to feel lonely even if you have a girlfriend if she is not fun for you to be around or if you don't have your needs met by her.

Lastly, you will experience much more success with women, if you actually don't need one in your life. You are less likely to give off that desperate vibe when you don't need one, and you are much more likely to screen women until you find the right one. A lot of guys don't do that, they don't screen women. They take the first one that they can get and then they find out that they ended up with someone who they don't want to be with. You probably don't want that to happen to you, so why not do yourself a favor and at least identify why you want to have a girlfriend?
