If Nobody Laughs At Your MLM Business Then You Are Doing Something Wrong

Network marketing has been very good to me for the last 4 years but I have to say, it has been a long journey. I've been involved in the online industry for over a decade and along the way I've joined more MLM opportunities than I have fingers and toes. Failure was a word I heard a lot and over the years I've had many fingers pointed at me while laughs always follow shortly after. It may seem odd what I'm about to say but I actually embrace the laughter I get when I talk about my MLM business or any business I'm involved with period.

Many successful people fail miserably with their business before they make it to the top and most of the time the obstacle they face is nothing more than negativity from other people. I mean you think about it, when most people start an MLM business for example; they tell their family and friends about it and what do you think the response is. You need to get a job, it's a scam, or it will never work. Now, most of the time when the other party tells you how they feel about your business, they are laughing in your face. Sound familiar right! This is very heartbreaking especially when it's coming from people you love and know very well. That emotional ride normally drives people to quit before they get started because they believe there is no hope.

Do not let what people say discourage you from your ultimate goal. I love when people laugh at what I'm doing. Isn't it funny how someone can give you advice about your business when they have a full time job? How can they give you advice on something they don't have? It just doesn't make sense to me. I guarantee when you start making some good money those vary people that laughed at you will be scattering like roaches to get a piece of your pie.

Let me tell you a little story about a simple business man that was laughed at consistently. Now we all know what an outhouse is right! The smelly house no one wants to set foot in unless you had to relieve yourself. Even then, you still don't want to go in there. Well, years ago outhouses were a normal and common thing. One day the simple business man said he wanted to put an outhouse inside of a house. As you can imagine many people laughed at this man for days and weeks at a time. They would tell him, you are not putting a stinking outhouse inside of our house you crazy little man. After many years of being laughed at and teased this simple business man had finally succeeded by putting an outhouse inside of a house. The funny thing is we call them bathrooms today! Who's laughing now? That simple business man laughed all the way to the bank. Those laughs he received turned into a multi-million dollar business.

In closing, when someone laughs at your MLM business or opportunity just give them a big bright smile and say, this must not be for you and thank them for their time. Kill people with kindness and NEVER take it personal. You don't have to convince anyone to join your opportunity because it should speak for itself. Just know once you get to where you want to be no matter how long it takes, someone you presented your business to in the past will either see you at the top or from the top.
