For most people, the word "housekeeper" calls up images of a matronly older lady

A good daily will allow you to forget about dustbin schedules, maintenance and repair workers, and other regularly scheduled tasks. Further, by constantly cleaning and maintaining your home, you are actually saving time in the long run that would be spent endlessly cleaning junked-up closets or scrubbing accumulated grime from surfaces. Having a weekly cleaning schedule keeps your house in its best condition.

Besides cleaning, housekeepers can perform a variety of tasks related to running the home that help a busy homeowner fit everything into a tight schedule. Chores like weekly shopping, errand running, and cooking can be negotiated with a domestic agent, relieving the homeowner of unwanted or time-consuming chores. A good housekeeper can be hired to pay tradesmen, monitor workmen, and any other tasks you cannot be present to do yourself.

Even if you only employ part-time house help, anything that is done in your absence is saving you time. By setting up a good housekeeping schedule, you not only save yourself the time of the actual chores performed, but you also save yourself future worry with jobs piling up unfinished, leading to even more time spent trying to untangle your "to-do" list.
