'In Total Defense of the Self' by Richard Dimitri is an Ebook unlike all others I have come across. I purchased this Ebook after a truly unfortunate situation in downtown Montreal last summer, three, very intoxicated men encircled me on my walk home from an art studio, after being berated and harassed, one of the men started reaching up my skirt!I screamed! Thank god there was a group of actual gentleman who came running over and chased those monsters away. I'm scared to think what would have happened if those chivalrous men weren't there to help! After reading this Ebook, I now feel the confidence to manage my stress and most importantly protect myself and my family. As a women in today's society I can't stress how important it is to feel confident you can handle a confrontation that could lead to violence against you or your loved ones. I've read other books on the subject, but none of them broke it down the way this did, it's a book that you can actually relate too. I later found out, that Richard Dimitri was a trainer for the RCMP in Montreal and the Marines! I have come to read more and more of the Senshido line of products and am happy I did, besides teach me to protect myself, they've helped me grow as a person.
