Similarly, in food processing, this method is used to detect and remove any metal pieces that may have accidentally gotten into the food products.

Again, industrial magnets are extensively used for heavy lifting and transportation uses. The industrial magnets are endowed with a strength that can translate into the ability to lift metal items anywhere from 4 pounds to well over 4,000 pounds. A lifting magnet can be effectively used to quickly clean up an entire floor covered in scrap metal. The same can also assist in transporting a large, heavy metal pipe from one area to another.
