So how do we perform research? First we want to learn something about keyword research

. So let's start with a little bit about basics. So we want to find keywords that are related to our nature of topic. Now keywords are basically search terms, so when people use search engines like Google, or Yahoo they are using search terms which we like to call keywords. So let me show you what we are talking about. So if we go over to Google, and I am sure you have seen this that they give you suggestions so if we go over to a topic on Internet marketing.

So if we go in to type internet marketing. We see internet marketing, internet marketing center, internet marketing strategies. So these are all different search terms that are generating traffic based on Google and now I am going to give you some of the freshest ideas and the topics that are searched the most. Now let me give you some terms related to keyword research. So the first one obviously is keywords, so this is a single word search term. Single words like internet, money, pigs, dogs, that would be a keyword. Now if you think a little bit further, it is going to be called a keyword phrase,. So, this obviously sets some words together like dog bone,internet marketing or make money. And the next term that I am going to talk about is called long tail keywords.

Long tail keywords, are similar to a keyword phrase but it is very specifically contains at least three or more words with less searches and minimal competition so it will be something like internet marketing training or free internet marketing videos, how to make money online, so there are multiple word search terms.And with this how to determine a niche, we want to on long tail keywords, find these niches with lots of traffic and low competitions so we can dominate.

So now that we know that we need to perform keyword research there are several tools available on the internet, some paid, some free. So some of the tools you can purchase are Market Samurai, Micro Niche Finder, NicheBot. They will all do some research, they will take you deep into certain terms and give you all your feedback.

Also Google has its own keyword tool that is free that will give you some relevant information as well. So if we go over to Google and type in keyword tool the perform a search the first twenty that usually comes up here is the keyword Googles keyword tool. So all you need to do is take your term or topic that you want to start with a minimal search that is going down from here as you do research.

So let's start with make money online. So as your results come up its going to tell us certain things. So on the left it's going to give us the related terms that Google or users have punched in. So, make money online fast, make money online free, how to make money online, The second listing is advertising competition so it shows you how many people are in that niche and tells you how competitive that market is. So those are obviously very competitive markets. The next column over shows what the search volume was. So you can go through this list as you are doing your keyword research and you can take some little.

They are competitive but they are low search volume, which you can find will be able to dominate that niche. Some of the niches you will be able to dominate if you do a little bit of research, a little covert surveillance to subdue your competition, see what they are doing and if you can take and manage and if you are able to take over those sites.
