It's the last thing that any body wants to here, i dont think things are working out, i think we should move on, start again. What? You feel dumbfounded and dont know what to do. Its so devastating we become irrational, freak out, loose sleep over it and worst of all the memories, what to do with them?

The first things that we think about are how did things go wrong, what can i do to make things right, should i beg them for forgiveness, call them. The answer to all of these is NO...

THe first things that come into your head when you have just broken up are the last things that you should do.Dont call, dont beg and definetly dont make any promises.

First you need to let them go. Wow this might seem like the last thing on your mind but it is the best and only way to move on with your life. You might be asking, how can i let them go? What do you mean? We just broke up. You need to let them see and understand that you agree with the break up. Even if in your head you want to lay down and cry, you cant! Let them know that if they need some time then you respect that, by doing this it shows that you genuinly love the person. You dont want to part in bad terms with hard feelings, do you?

Secondly if you are still saying " I just broke up" you need to listen some more. You need to be able to contact them in a personal manner. Do not text or phone them this is the last thing that they will want, instead, hand write them a letter, this is giving something of yourself to them something personal.

Last you need to move on with your life, show the person that it is not effecting you. Do not make plans to see any friends who might know what they have been up to, you want to avoid all contact at all costs. You need to make your life out to be fun like you do not need that person back in your life to be happy. When people see that they cant have something lots of times they want it back.
