Killer Self Defense moves revealed

It frustrates me the amount of self defence moves that I see online and taught in Dojos that don't actually work

. Some trainers teach complicated moves that work in a dojo, however as soon as these moves are tried in the real world they fail miserably. For this reason when I teach self defence to my friends, family and other students I tell them to remember the K.I.S.S acronym which stands for

Keep

It

Simple

Stupid

This may sound silly but it works, by keeping your techniques simple you will remember them, by making them more complicated than they need be will only result in you messing up or forgetting your techniques, for this reason in this article I will be discussing how to perform simple moves that work.

Simple technique 1

The first technique is the eye gouge. Now I can almost see you recoiling back in your chair, however please remember this is a street fight and it could be a situation where someone is mugging you or worse, for this reason there are no rules. Really there is no right or wrong way to perform this technique. You don't have to be super accurate with one finger. Simply thrust your hands and fingers into the attackers face and aim for the eyes, when you connect the attacker will jolt backwards and won't see a thing. This will leave them open to punches, kicks, slaps or even for you to run away, remember running away is just as good as getting into the fight in the first place.

Simple Technique 2

I'm not sure of the exact name of the technique so for this article I will give it my own name. This technique is the "cupped slap". Now this technique simply uses your hand in a cupped position like if you were trying to hold water in the palm of it. To use this technique cup your hand and aim for either the Jaw line or the ear. If you connect with the jaw with reasonable force then you will cause the attackers brain to wobble inside their head, this will result in you knocking them out. If you miss the jaw and hit the ear then you are going to cause disorientation. This is why this technique is so useful because even if you miss your initial target you're still going to cause damage.
