The first laser pointers are available in only one laser beam color which is red. During its time, the public was already warned that it can be dangerous to the eye. Now that it is created more powerful in many different color variants, the more that we need to be careful.

The creation of the laser pointer is not simple. You can see that there are so many green laser pointer products being advertised now but the technology used is a bit complex. In order to achieve the green laser pointer beam color, they need to align the crystal laser diodes to attain the green laser wavelength, which is 532nm. This is the same with other laser beam colors with different frequencies in nanometer (nm).
