Let Panic Attacks Be A Thing Of The Past!
Let Panic Attacks Be A Thing Of The Past!
Panic attacks are not spontaneous random experiences. They are rooted in an underlying general anxiety that acts as the feeding ground for them to occur. Some people claim the attacks come totally out of the blue but in fact on closer examination the person is usually already feeling a higher level of generalized anxiety before the panic attack begins. Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a common chronic disorder characterized by long-lasting anxiety that is not focused on any one object or situation. Those suffering from generalized anxiety experience non-specific persistent fear and worry and become overly concerned with everyday matters. Generalized anxiety disorder is the most common anxiety disorder to affect older adults. Recent surveys have found that as many as 18% of Americans may be affected by one or more of them. In fact the more honest you are with your fears the less pressure you are subjecting yourself, and the more your panic attack symptoms will dissipate. During a panic attack because of the symptoms the people are feeling they are prone to believe they are going to "lose control". This Loss of control can be bodily you fear that all your vital organs will completely lose the run of themselves and descend into chaos or that the you will mentally lose a grip on reality. Sometimes individuals go through a similar worry about their heart as they do with their breathing. People convince themselves that if they do not worry enough about their heart or concentrate too much upon its actions that it may somehow forget how to beat correctly. It is quite common for people who suffer from panic attacks to regularly check in on their heart at Intervals to make sure it is still beating away. The symptoms will usually go away quickly when the individual rests. This is very different to panic attack symptoms. Certainly panic symptoms can occur during exercise but they are different to the symptoms of a heart attack as they occur frequently at rest. Of most importance heart disease will almost always produce major electrical changes in the heart which are picked up very obviously by an EKG. In panic attacks the only change that shows up is a slight increase in heartbeat rate. During an Anxiety attack many of the symptoms are similar to those of a really good workout. When these sensations occur and people do not understand why, they feel they have contracted an illness, or a serious mental condition. The threat ofl losing complete control seems very real and naturally very terrifying. When a Panic attack begins, it does not switch off as easily as it is turned on.There is always a period of what would seem increased or continued anxiety, as these messengers travel throughout the body. Think of them as one of the physiological causes of panic attacks. Most of the people I have dealt with have been struggling with anxiety disorders for many years and have usually exhausted themselves looking for a solution In every book, course, or treatment program out there. By the time they get to the right treatment they are, understandably, very skeptical and have little faith in ever getting rid of their condition. You will be amazed at how a simple technique could be so powerful in restoring you back to your former care free self. This is not only about eliminating panic attacks but also getting your general anxiety level right back down to zero without the use of any medication or alternative therapies.
