The Carleton College Mustache Club

Everyone who wears mustache, no matter genuine or fake one, is welcome here. Remarkable is the fact that women can also fit the society: all they should do is shave their faces except the area above the lips.

Students Against Hippies in Trees

This funny name of the club is devoted to the students of the University of California at Berkeley. They were protesting the building of an athletic center which could cause the removal of the trees. The protest was in the form of camping in the trees.

Students for an Orwellian Society

The club claims to support the idea of the totalitarian society described in Georges Orwells novel 1984. For those who arent aware, the distinctive features of the system depicted are mind control, language manipulation and a severe set of punishments. The society has the satirical character. We hope it has.

Unusual scholarships

To get a scholarship at the university one should keep pegging away day and night. To get one of these weird scholarships one needs much more to stand out in a crowd. What features may help you get such a scholarship?
