Mattresses piled high on top of a single pea made the princess uncomfortable, and of course in this case it proved she was a princess. In the real world, it means you probably bought a poor mattress. Goldilocks on the other hand, knew the trick. She was not going to sleep in a bed that was not right for her. On the third try she found the right one. As you go out and try to find the right mattress for yourself and some for your family, do not just settle for low quality mattresses because of the price. Take the time to try out a number of them that the store has to offer.

You might not have much money to spend on mattresses. That is okay. You should be able to find one that is good quality that has the type of comfort you desire. The comfort level has to do with the mattress being firm, soft, or other levels in between. If you already know that you like a firm mattress, then that will help you as you make your decision.

Try to find a mattress store that is inviting when it comes to trying out the beds. A store might have a plastic covering over the mattress so that people can lay on it without ruining the mattress or leaving too many germs for the next person. A store really should change that plastic out regularly so that no one feels uncomfortable about lying down on dirty plastic. You need to be able to be relaxed when you are choosing the right mattress.

Once you find one that you love, you should look at the price and see if it is within your budget. If it is not, ask the sale's person whether they have a similar type of mattress for a lower price. They should be able to find one that is comparable. It might not be exact or quite as comfortable, but it should work for you. If they say there is not one, then you should keep looking on your own.

After trying out various mattresses and considering the cost with the quality, hopefully you will be able to find the right one for you and anyone else in your family who is in need of a mattress. Taking the time to find the right one will benefit you in the long run with a good night's sleep worthy of Goldilocks.
