You have to use the best weight loss for you, and the best exercise for weight loss which could mean simply walking. Make sure you have a combination of exercise and diet and stick to a plan. Even if you only decide that you are going to walk to and from the station, or walk the kids to school is a start and can greatly improve your health.

On the other hand, keep in mind that having some extra pounds isn't particularly good for your health, especially if "some" turn to "dozens". People who are overweight can suffer from various diseases like:

- cancer

- osteoarthritis

- heart disease

- gallstones
