Siding will cost anywhere from $400 a square (100 sq. ft.) to over a $1,000 a sq. Big difference. Some use 1'/4" insulation behind the siding to 3/4". Siding that has the insulation conformed to the back of the siding can be 1 1/2" thick. More is better. Soffit panels for your eaves and overhang will cost anywhere from $15. per linear ft. to $30 or more depending on how wide your overhang is.
