Make Your Marketing Campaign More Personal

Write in the first person
Writing your marketing copy in a tone that makes it appear like youre having a one-on-one conversation with your target clients is a good way to start being personal. Tell them the benefits of your offer as if youre actually talking to them and build the excitement with words that would make them feel you know them and they know you.
Use contractions
What are contractions? These are words you put together to form a more personal word. Examples are Im, youre, well. As a reader, you wouldnt want to read I am, You are, and We will over and over again. And as far as having a friendly conversation goes, contractions are part and parcel of everyday chats. Your marketing tool would have a more personal feel if you use these words in your marketing copy.
Avoid using too many commas
Similar to the contractions, commas make for a more distracted reader. Putting too much in your copy can overwhelm your target audience. So be sure to limit your use of commas; or your message might get lost just because youre reader is trying to make sense of it in your sentence. What you can do instead is to write short and brief sentences so you wont have to apply any commas at all.
Using And, But and Because dont mean that your sentence is incomplete
Your teachers actually lied when they told you back in elementary days that starting your sentence with these words is wrong. Its alright to begin your sentence with And, But, and Because. Especially with advertising, the way you write your sentences depend on how you want your marketing copy to become interesting and appealing.
Stop putting pressure on yourself
Writing a marketing copy that is effective can put too much stress on you. So just stop and forget about it. Totally. Just sit down, relax and write whatever you want to say in your marketing campaign. Write a letter to a friend and tell them about your products and services. Tell them how you can help them with your offer. By making it seem like youre just writing a letter to a friend, you can take out the pressure of having a marketing copy that would make your marketing tool generate leads as many as you can.
