The ground of the wood is very moist and is deciduous with the swamps. These wetlands are the major sights for the survival of the endangered hispid hare. The vegetation ranges from Khairsissoo-bhabhar grass community to semi evergreens. There ate intermediate stages of succession- deciduous forests swampy land and also the Sal forest. The trees like simul, Khoir, udal, sida, bohera and kanchan.

Fauna of the National Park:

It is the shelter of many endangered species as many of the 55 species of mammals in addition to 50 reptiles with the surprising 380 species of birds and also includes 3 species of amphibians. The key attraction of the park are tigers, elephants, rhinoceros and wild buffaloes.
