Mat Question Papers : Paving The Way For Quality Management Education
The Management Aptitude Test is conducted by the All India Management Association
(AIMA) every year with the objective of testing aspiring students eligibility to gain admission to various management institutions. These institutions have registered themselves with AIMA and based on the score card that AIMA issues to the students who appeared for the MAT these institutions decide whether to grant admission to these students or not.
This year AIMA has given the option of either appearing for the Paper and Pencil Test or the Computer-Based Test for MAT to aspirants. The written test is scheduled for 8th December. 2009 and the Computer-Based one will take place on the 12th of December, 2009. The Paper and Pencil Test is of two and a half hours. While the Computer-Based Test will be held over three time slots over the day.
While it is better left to the individual candidate's personal choice as to how he/she wants to prepare, doing as many Mock Tests of
MAT Question Paper either of Previous Years or Model Test Papers or Guess Papers formed of Questions that are more likely to come is a method that has never failed. Of course the mock tests have to be taken in conditions that are as close to the real time examination as possible.
The minimum qualification for appearing for MAT Test is Bachelors Degree or an equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognised university. A final-year student can also take the test provisionally.

Format for MAT Test
MAT is a multiple-choice objective type test, that comprises of five sections. Each section is for 40 marks with total of 200 marks. Total time for the examination is 2 and half hours (150 minutes). Negative marking is not specified. Scores are dependent on first four sections and the decision on the scores of General Awareness section are left to the particular institute.
