PVC is a very lightweight, synthetic material that is easy to mold and shape and is relatively inexpensive, which means that it should not be much trouble to replace them if they are damaged. White PVC piping is also easy to manipulate, so you can add different colors or stencils if you choose to, which is often a good way to make your course more interesting. Most of the time, PVC works in tandem with regular or reinforced plastic to ensure that each piece is built with durability and longevity in mind.
