With the advent of the internet most network marketers rarely get into recruiting mode. The internet has made it easier to make thousands of presentations to people interested in network marketing provided you know how to generate tons of traffic. But some networkers use offline prospecting as well as online and as a result have a heap more sign ups. read on to discover the network marketing recruiting secrets.
Recruiting Mindset
Steel yourself, because if you have a barrage of leads coming in daily then you'll have to have some discipline and accept that ALOT of calls will have to be made.
The second Recruiting mindset to take on is to be aware that a large number of prospects won't join for a variety of reasons, some won't join because of money(or lack thereof) and some because they can't commit themselves to a business.
How To Begin
If you're online leave a field on your form requesting the number as well as the name and e-mail.
It's best to call leads that you generate because you have a better chance at conversion. They were on your website and interested in your offer right? So be confident and don't sweat it.
How To Warm It Up
As soon as you call ask for your prospect by his/her name and don't be afraid to be friendly and personal. I've found that most prospects warm up to you quicker that way.
Ask about the area code that they used and ask where they're from and make a quick comment about the area they live in say something nice and move on quickly.
Next ask them something about their business opportunity e.g. are you interested in network marketing? have you joined a network marketing company?
Don't worry too much about the answers you get, these are little light questions that just warm up the conversation.
Lead The Way
This is very VERY important. always lead the conversation and don't fall behind keep things moving quickly.
If your prospects dominate the call then you can say 'have a nice day' to them there and then because they'll be gone very quickly.
Don't try and sell them your business opportunity straight away. Get them to see the presentation or the free tour of your opportunity.
Show your prospect exactly where to go and give them your domain address for example-
www.yourdomainname.com.Don't try anything else. It's really that simple all you really want is to break the ice to make sure that your prospect is'nt afraid to call you and to establish a relationship.
When I first got started with my opportunity I tried all the old techniques and cold calling prospects more than anything else would frighten the hell out of me.
I'd be shaking my voice would break and the conversation would be over almost as soon as it had begun.
I however got over it as soon as I developed a system of prospecting and being more confident with myself I was able to sign up truckload of people.
But with terrible attriton rates no one stuck however that's another story for another day.About the Author:
