Once you've checked into your cottage or hotel in New Brunswick, you might want to ask your desk clerk for directions to The Hopewell Rocks. This massive and popular tourist attraction is only accessible during low tides. They are located in the Bay of Fundy and are sometimes called the Flowerpot Rocks because of their shapes.

Hundreds of years of high tides, wind, and rain have worn away or worn down the red stone cliffs, making the amazing formations. They sit within an easy 40km commute from Moncton. Be very aware of the posted visiting hours. The last thing you want to do is to be caught exploring on the ocean floor when the tide is coming back in.
