Nursery Education Is Benefecial For Children
In India, pre-school is divided into three stages
. These three stages are the Playgroup, Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Upper Kindergarten. Nursery School Education helps the children learn while they play. Here they learn to play with materials. Here they also learn to cope up to live with other children and teachers. Nursery School Education is the stepping stone for the childs further education. When parents admit their child in school, they also learn as a parent by observing their child.
Pre-school in India is an educational institution for children too young for elementary school. It is a common place where toddlers meet, play and spend time together under the supervision of a teacher or two. Pre-schools in India are not for a formal education but a place where children feel their first taste of Independence. Pre-school has become a central concept for both child and the parents. According to a study, the number of pre-schools in India is growing at the rate of 40% yearly. That really shows how important pre-schools are turning out to be in the context of Indian education system.
Here they get to learn many things about human relations. At a pre-school, a child is educated for getting admission into bigger schools. After getting into a pre-school, a child develops a routine for himself. Education at pre-school, trains a child so that he does not have any difficulty in adjusting into a bigger school. At a pre-school, a child learns to become confident and independent. After the government of India passed the Right to Education Act (RTE), education has been made free and compulsory for children between the age group of 6 to 14 years under Article 21A of the Indian Constitution.
But as it is said there is no end to our desires, so now parents are raising their voice to make pre-school or nursery education free for children. Most of the parents and scholars think that if the government can make the nursery education free for children, than it would result into an increase in number of school goers. The section of people, who are below the poverty level, thinks that it would be better to send the kid to work then sending him to a school. But if the nursery education is also made free, then parents would be more interested in sending their child to schools.
Moreover its expensive to afford nursery schools in places like Noida or Gurgaon. Parents face great difficulties to afford the expenditures of schools in Noida or Gurgaon or Dwarka. So if government will also make the nursery education free and compulsory, it would be a great relief for parents who are either below poverty level or belongs to a middle class society.
