Both sides PVC printing sheet is made of two original sheets A and B.The top sheet and the bottom sheet is sheet A which is transparent and printable.The middle sheet is the core sheet B which is adhesive. It has three colors: white, gold, or silver.One side of Sheet A has a protective layer(film), only the other side without a layer can be printable. Both sides of Sheet B has the protective layer which should be reduced before going through the hot laminator.Print the images designed by computer to sheet A with a color inkjet printer - Card Embosser . Printing output. Output sheet size should be larger than the cards, which can make sheet cutting easier.Output the sheet.Peel down the transparent protective layer on both sides of sheet B before laminating the PVC sheet. Put core sheet B between 2 sheets A which are well printed. The printed side of sheets A should face the core sheet. Adjust the temperature of the hot laminator machine to 130-150. Let the 3 sheets go through the hot laminator when temperature reach 130-150(Temperature of the hot laminator can be adjusted according to practical needs)Peel down the protective layer on both sides of the binding sheet. Use manual PVC cutter cut the binding sheet into two parts. Use manual or automatic PVC sheet cutter cut the binding sheet into standard PVC - Card Embossing Machine Attentions: For the EPSON PHOTO R210, R230, R800 printer, the paper detecting sensors are different from other models. When printing the transparent PVC sheet, these printers can not detect the paper which may cause printing failure. A copy paper lining the back of PVC sheet can resolve the problem and make the printing process smooth. Other models of printer do not need such operation. Well printed PVC cards - Card tipper are easy to get plastic bubbled when they are stocked on the wet environment. Before going through the hot laminator, using hairdryer to dry the moisture of the surface of sheet A and sheet B can avoid the foaming phenomenon. (Both sides of protective layers of core sheet B should be peeled down.) This is a critical process especially for the gold and silver PVC cards as they are more easily to get plastic bubbled. The temperature for the laminator machine can be set according to different models and PVC sheets.You can have a try and test before real work. Too high a temperature can cause the PVC cards deformed. Too low a temperature can cause loose binding of the sheets. When printing the PVC cards in a full sheet, it is better for the output sizes of PVC sheets to be 1-2mm larger than the standard cards. This is easier for cutting and can avoid the exposure of white edge. To avoid color fade of the card image, it is better for PVC sheet A to get laminated 3 minutes later after output from the printer.
