What is the cause of anxiety attacks in people? The answer is stress. Stress is the main cause of anxiety attacks. The symptoms can be many and varied and will be somewhat different for each individual. Medical Cures do help, but they are temporary. You have to understand what the causes are.

Stress And The Symptoms

The foremost contributing factor for anxiety attacks is stress. It is very common for people in their 50's to encounter them. At first, I started off with what felt like rapid heart palpitations and sweating but it would pass.

Then, as the time went by and my anxiety episodes went unabated, my symptoms worsened. my heart started pounding much faster and my inability to breathe brought about a fear of a heart attack or even worse, of dying. The thing about this disorder is that it can become a self-perpetuating nightmare. Panic attacks causes actually lead to more bad symptoms and fear speeds the whole process.

Of the various symptoms, the one that scared me the most was not being able to breathe. When my attacks came on, I was unable to breathe and not aware that I was suffering from anxiety disorder, I felt that I was having a heart attack. The first time it happened , I was rushed to the hospital by my wife and it was there that I found out that it was a Panic Attack. My wife started having the same symptoms later that year and it was at that time that we decided to discover a way to control it or even cure it if it was possible. Yes, and we did find a way to cure it.
