Im a big supporter of football and I make sure that I do catch all the action around the world
. Unlike cricket, more football matches are held between clubs than countries. Every country has their football championships organized for their clubs. Some of those which I watch and religiously follow are the Italian, Spanish and Englands club matches.
Although I love watching Spaniards technique, English premier league is the one which is more aggressively followed. Manchester club, among the rest is a well known club across globe. Football unlike Cricket is a game which is thrilling right from the start every time. The intensity in the game is so much that you just couldnt take your eyes off the match even for a second. My interest with the game increased during the 2006 world cup. There was also an incident which made the headlines all over the newspapers. It was during the final match between France and Italy where Zidane (France) head-butted Materazzi (Italy). This made France to play with ten players. The final match headed to penalty shootout which Italy won. It was the moment I thought that made me stick to the sports till now. The complete action made all of us excited that we kept on talking about the match for months after the cup.
Once when I and my friends were in panoramic resort Karnala near Panvel where in we gathered to celebrate my Birthday. We happened to meet a local football team who had come there to celebrate their victory. We happened to play a game of football with them in the panoramic resorts lawn. It was fun but they were more professional than us and really played well as a team. We lost as expected but it was a great game. There we learned few of the trade and tricks of the game which as a viewer wouldnt ever grasp from watching it on television. The football team had actually won the tournament and they had got group discount from Panoramic Universal Limited, the company which manages this resort.
