Since yesterday (October 3), several expressways that connecting Beijing to the adjacent cities especially the section between Juyongguan Great Wall and Chenzhuang within Beijing-Tibet Expressway (originally Badaling Expressway) has been challenged with supreme traffic loads. Since early morning of yesterday, serious queue was occurred along this expressway and for certain period of time, the queue of vehicles along this section of expressway had reached almost 10 kilometers.

Basically, the serious condition of traffic loads is due to self-driving tour which slowly becomes the most favorite traveling method of peoples throughout the nation. Anyway, the dramatic increment of vehicle along these expressways connecting to Beijing has on the other hand caused serious traffic problems along the expressways anyway. Besides that, the condition of the traffic in Beijing turns serious due to the short interval between Mid Autumn Festival and October Golden holiday this year which further encourage the intention of traveling in China.

On the early morning of October 3, the number of vehicles along Beijing-Tibet Expressway (originally Badaling Expressway) has encountered a dramatic increase and most of the important sections along the expressway were congested by large volume of traffics. For example, you might need to take at least 20 minutes drive within the 1 kilometer journey from Qinghe Toll Center to Qinghe Bridge. Anyway, the whole route along the expressway can still be considered as movable.

According to a Beijing local who planned to spend vacation with family at Juyonggyan Great Wall, he discovered a long queue right in front of him as he entered the main road of the expressway. "Mainly due to the big travel buses in front that stopped in the middle of road which caused other vehicles from the back need to be in queue. Some of the drivers from the back even walk to the toll center to check what are happening in front," said by this Beijing traveler again. The most serious traffic jam occurred along the expressway after 2pm and the condition continued until 8pm in the night.
