Activities for camps: Now a days camps are not only being used as places to enjoy and unwind but also as training programs for corporate trainings
. Various Army obstacles are used for this purpose. Also various mountaineering techniques are used for this purpose. Various other activities have been also devised for this purpose like.
TWINE: Two parallel ropes up in the air one to walk on the from the other strings hang which one has to hold one after another and crossover.
GLIDER: A net of tyres at an incline. This has to be climbed up to a rough height of 15 feet and then one descends on the other side on an suspended at an inclination bamboo and rope ladder.
PARALLEL ROPES: Two parallel ropes roughly at a height of 10 feet. One walks on the lower rope holding the upper rope. At the end the person takes a free fall. Person is attached to a safety rope.
MONKEY CRAWL: A horizontal rope tied between two trees. One has to crossover from one end to the other crawling with the help of hands and feet.
BALANCE WALK: Zig Zag planks fixed at a height of 4 ft where one has to cross over without any help.
ARTIFICIAL ROCK WALL: A 28 ft high rock wall made of wooden planks fixed on iron rails at a slight inclination with imported holds fixed to them. One has to climb up using the holds with a belay rope attached to harness for safety.
VALLEY CROSSING/FLYING FOX: A very enjoyable joy ride here a climbing rope is fixed at a height with a safety belay rope and also a pull push rope fixed on a pulley. The person is suspended from the pulley with the help of carabiner and seat harness, The person doing this activity comes down at a speed to the lower end where the rope is tied.
COMMANDO BRIDGE: A ladder made of rope and bamboos is suspended between two trees at a height. One has to cross over from one end to the other holding on to parallel ropes
COMMANDO NET: A nylon net fixed at an inclination on both sides one side to climb up from and the other to get down from.
BURMA BRIDGE: A thick nylon rope suspended across a crevice fixed to two trees on either side can be a challenge to the strong heart also. Done with safety rope affixed to the person doing this activity.
