Have you ever considered just what that mug you treasure at work might say about you

? It's probably not high on your agenda of important things, but it does send out a message about what type of person you are. When you are at work in the office and you want to demonstrate who you are, but without throwing it in people's faces, what simpler method is there than with personalised mugs.

Perhaps there is a new boy at work. He's trying hard to make a good impression and offers to make the drinks. What better way to make him feel at ease then confronting him with your Beach Babe mug with your name proudly printed across her bikini? Such a mug would certainly make a strong statement about the owner, especially if they happened to buy it themselves! In an office where everyone is working hard, you need a bit of down-to-earth nonsense and what better way than with some inappropriate personalised mugs.

If you are trying to promote yourself with a mug, granny's present last Christmas with the roses on is possibly not the best choice. When it comes to someone's image, most people have trouble pinning down someone through their choice of gifts. While there are the odd few people who have a knack for finding the perfect present to represent someone, most people can only really demonstrate their true selves by finding something themselves. Now, this is hardly something that is going to make a serious change in your life, but if you are going to say something about yourself you might as well do it properly. For those in the first stages of romance, where everything is rose petals and butterflies you might be happy bringing in personalised mugs bought by your better half. They certainly would show that you are off the market. Or perhaps if you have a serious nature, a golfing mug might demonstrate your true self. Aside from making a personal statement, such mugs are an excellent way to hint at colleagues what you might like as a birthday gift.

For those seriously considering purchasing personalised mugs to promote yourself there is one piece of advice you must take. Don't. Anyone who genuinely believes a mug could demonstrate who you really are, must be barmy. personalised mugs are a good way to remember not to take yourself too seriously. After all, we are all human, all have our likes and dislikes and little quirks and while some people might be keen to be separated from the norm and create an individual style and statement, at the end of the day, it is only a mug!
