. The areas are researched on by a group of qualified individuals who strive to achieve a breakthrough by hours of dedicated research. Science and technological advancements are published in journals after acceptance. A part progress in the study is publicized in the local media after acquiring rights. The key developments are published in television as well as in newspapers as these modes are the fastest means of awareness spread. The newspaper sections feature a supplement in most cases encompassing the hit discoveries and trends in science.

There are glitches observed in the delivery of the news or any scientific information to the common man. Sometimes with delivery, also the attitude and approach of analyzing and processing of the information could be influenced by predefined thoughts and perceptions. A number of factors contribute to such an effect. At a younger age, the awareness is carried forward to the public by means of school education. As daily developments take place, many schools lack the infrastructure to produce or print the latest additions and facts on technology in the sciences. Also, guidance and an inclination towards science can be inculcated by the trained mentor in charge. The lack of understanding could hamper their interest which is a natural effect. Another strong belief among people is their spiritual side; at times which could cloud a scientific thought. India, a culturally and religiously strong nation bears a dip in this regard in places which are aloof and houses people away from the scientific world. These people do not like interference in natural phenomena and strongly support the existing beliefs. A performed opinion of people regarding some stated topics would block their judgment and result in a closed mind.

The introduction of scientifically altered and varied fruits and veggies or Gene cloning for instance, gained a lot of momentum in the earlier years. With time, other interests have taken over. With modernization of the nation and the interferences by a number of other attractive genre, Science has little place amongst a pool of people. The achievements to a large extent are taken for granted and no longer reside at the top of the favorite chart. The fissure seems to increase with the passing years between the common man and the scientists. In my opinion, at times the process of scientific information is not completely simplified and fails to make an impact on people.

With passing time, there is a requirement for an upsurge of development of an interest in science. Other modes of broadcasting technology related information and reaching out to the common man could probably help in this regard. Our future is dependent on the up comings in both science & technology and hence there is an urgent need to spread our awareness in this field and yearn for knowledge bright an alive.
