We all live in big prisons all our lives. We all submit ourselves to the prison guards. We all need to be fed by the prison director and his scums, the gladiators. We all need to be given shelter in such dark grey walls. We all need, and are obliged to, follow the queue in our daily prison life. We are all forced to adhere to the laws of the jailer, otherwise we are sent to little isolated cells. We all live in small cells, with some fellow-prisoners, the number of which depends entirely on which big state you happen to live.
But in reality although we live in big prisons with others we are always alone, lonely and self-centered.
We enjoy the few intersections that are granted us by the direction but we have a limited space to practice our leisure. Always within the borders of our prison.
We are offered work by the director, and earn very little that does not give us enough to enjoy what we like to enjoy.
Freedom is limited. It is defined by the rules of the our prison, or more correctly the state prison. We are allowed to live in a specific way, dress up what the direction decide for us and eat what the jail keeper permits in accordance to the provision available.
Try to walk out of the prison and immediately you are out side your prison to enter another prison. All prisons are the same. Claustrophobic, limited in movement and your liberty if defined by internal laws of the prison society in which you happen to live.
If you have some better means of living, inherited from your rich parents then you are allowed a better provision in your cell.
Television and radios are provided for you, but the programs are limited to what the direction wants to offer you. This is your society in which you have to bear others, their shit added to the shit of your prison government. From to time you have spectacles done by the prisoners themselves and you can enjoy the show.
Fights and expressed hatred and conflict are most of the time the mode of prison life and you have your share of it if you like. Sometimes it is imposed on you even though you are a marginal prisoner.
The prison director, having to dictate the law of his prison, can make his own amendments to the prison constitution and make your life hell. The prison guards, dogs of the sultan director, guard over you and your conduct. Should you show any anxiety for your miserable situation and demand more bread, then the sultan director of your prison leashes his dogs and you are torn to pieces before you realize it.
What the heck! You did not choose to go to prison, but you are forced to. After all you are not Robinson Crusoe but a little mouse who is destined to live with other mice in the sewage of big prisons.
Show any tendencies of revolt or tumult and you are crushed like a cockroach. No aspiration to leave the big prison unless you change for another one, near by or far away.
All societies live in big prisons called states, kingdoms, emirates, sultanates, republics. We all live in these prisons and practice what our jailers' law and submit unto their rule. We are citizen-subjects to such prisons. We live alone and die alone.
But if you take God's side then you immediately release yourself from such big, or even small prisons. You become a universal citizen in God's Kingdom. You will be a free man and not a slave, a respectable human being and not a miserable rat. You will be man with value and dignity and not just a number on a record to be fed and be provided with a cell. You will abandon your hatred and fear and replace it by peace and love for yourself, for your God and for the universe.
Your Lord will be God, your creator, provider, sustainer, preserver and savior.
