I did a lot of research into Renewable Types of Energy before I brought what suited my needs
. I then looked in to the government to see if they would help with the cost involved in such a set up. To my surprise they offered my a 50% rebate, you would be mad not to make a call. I then realised I would be crazy not to do it as I wanted to save money so installed a stand-alone system. This might not be what you are looking at but it does suit me as I live on a farm with no electricity. So look into renewable energy products and what suits you and make that small change today as you wont look back.
