So, you somehow ended up on the rocks with your girlfriend and you are hoping that

you are going to be able to fix things so that you don't permanently lose her. That's a tough spot to be in for sure. You don't want to wind up alone when you could have the chance of mending whatever went wrong. Good things can happen, even when it doesn't seem that way, so don't get too down about where you are at right now. With a few simple tips, you might be able to repair your relationship so that losing her is not going to be a risk that you have to face.

Here are 3 tips for patching things up with your girlfriend:

1) Never get caught up in blaming her or arguing with her about who is right and who is wrong.

This is the clash of the egos that happens in a lot of relationships when things are on the rocks and what is more important? Would you rather arguing yourself right and losing her, or letting go of the need to blame her for what went wrong and ending up back together again. You really can't go right by trying to blame her or argue about who is right and who is wrong, but you can go right by letting all of that go.

2) Don't let there be too much silence between you and her.

When the relationship is on the rocks, but you haven't really permanently split up, the last thing that you need to do is to add a huge lack of communication into the mix. Doing that is like adding salt to the wound, and it will end up making things nearly impossible to get straightened out between you and her. You do need to let her have some space of course, but too much when you haven't really permanently split is usually not the way to go.

3) Romance your girlfriend so that she knows the love is still there.

Couples who go through hard times but still take the time so as to not neglect the romantic side of things are much more likely to be able to work things out and stay together. This is really important, because if you and your girlfriend are facing those times and you don't actively work on the romance, you may end up with an ex girlfriend instead and that's not nearly as easy to rectify as just having problems with your current girlfriend is.
