In general, Biofuel refers to the fuel in the state of solid, liquid or gas, which is composed of or extracted from biomass, it can replace the gasoline and diesel oil made of oil, and it is the significant direction of development and utilization of renewable energy. The so-called biomass means the various organism, which is made of air, water, soil through the photosynthesis, that is, the every zoetic and growable organic substance, which consist of animal and microorganism, and differs from the traditional oil, coal, nuclear and etc. this new fuel is renewable fuel.

Since 1970s, because the effect of oil resource, price, environment protection and global warm, many countries have paid close attention to the development of biofuel increasingly, and have gained remarkable success. Chinas biofuel develop also obtain great achievements; especially that the ethanol production has basically formed scale, which use food as raw material. The latest research achievement made by American scientists shows that, as the present two mostly applied biofuel, biodiesel and ethanol fuel are better than fossil fuel, but they cant meet the demands of society. The researchers find that, though all coin and soybean in America applied in the produce of biofuel, the production can only meet the whole societys demand of 12%gasoline and 6% diesel oil respectively. However, coin and soybean should be firstly used as food, feed and other economy demand; they cannot be used totally to produce biofuel.

The quantity production of biofuel will change the embarrassed situation of advanced international oil resource, then our country even the worlds oil resource tension situation will be solved.

New type rotary dryer can be used in the advance material drying of biofuel; the quality of material drying can directly affect the quantity of biofuel. In the whole production line, rotary dryer plays an important role.
