Sap Business One Implementation In Chicago Area With International Connection

If you have corporate headquarters in Chicagoland and expanding internationally we

would like to review some recommendations in exposing your Corporate ERP system to the international offices. There are several factors to consider and in our opinion the most important ones are the question is your Corporate ERP platform is localized in the country where you plan to deploy it. And the second is the circulation in the foreign country or how many successful installations does it have over there. There might be enthusiastic consulting firm which has its own localized version and only few customers on it. If this is the case then there is high risk for the future support and version upgrades

1.Here in Chicago metro area we have large number of businesses running Microsoft Dynamics GP. It is also available in most of the English, Arabic and Spanish speaking countries except continental Spain. It is not available in such countries as Brazil, Russian Federation and China

4.Simple Manufacturing and Distribution. Foreign facility might need such ERP attributes as Manufacturing, MRP and Distribution. Business One is intended for small business however it has elements of Discrete Production and Bill of Materials, fell balanced Inventory Management including such features as Picking and Packing. Plus it has Inventory replenishment via MRP wizard, Warranty Contracts with Service management

5.User Interface in English and Foreign Languages. With version 8.8X both former flavors A and B are now merged into one installation and you can deploy subsidiaries in all the countries where Business One is localized on the same SQL Server and expose them via the same Citrix application server or MS Terminal Server. You can define preferred language for the specific user or even switch interface from one language to another on the fly. The second option is especially useful for internal auditors hosted in Corporate Headquarters in the United States

6.Customizability and Integration options. There is native tool Data Transfer Workbench where you may implement reasonably simple one time or ongoing integration (the second is usually via ODBC connection imitating CSV templates in SQL View). If you are thinking about complex ongoing integration then we recommend you to consider Software Development Kit programming in Microsoft Visual Studio C# or VB.Net projects. There are third party integration tools such as iBolt for example but they are outside of the scope in this publication
