It does'nt matter if it's your first trip to the big apple or your a resident living close by you can still go to a show for pennies on the dollar. By exercising a few simple tips we hope to point you in the right direction in order to save money. I know the very first time my family visited the city we were hopelessly lost and could'nt find our way around. By way of a cab we toiled through midtown and visited local shops and tried to see the statue of liberty. It was from this mistake that I tried to be more abstract on how to discover the sights and sounds that New York offers. Visiting a theatre to take in a play was something we always wanted to do but most if not all venues were completely sold out. Hey another huge mistake I made, and yes we purchased fake tickets and were out two hundred and fifty dollars. 3) Everyone knows someone in New York so I decided to call a friend and he pointed me to a local ticketmaster that had seats but at incredibly high prices, we've never come across anything like this. I wanted to tell you the mistakes I made so you don't have the same problem. Being stupid and winging it did'nt work and being in the city that never sleeps it was getting tougher to try and save a few bucks. There are over two thousand venues just in Manhattan alone so if your heading to a specific borough try and narrow your search down.

Well the old saying is true be prepared. I guess it goes for anything really, always have your tickets in hand before making your way to a broadway musical. Now by searching the internet you will find many places that offer cheap theatre tickets. Now you can do the searches but the prices are all pretty similiar. Now they charge a fee which is depended on a few factors. Actually the factors are who your dealing with, and not the venue itself. Roughly the average fee is 15.00 per ticket and this is middle of the road. I don't think you will find to many places cheaper, if they don't charge you a fee it usually means the ticket price is 15.00 higher so you figure it out. Now if you see a company that has a phone number listed that tells you that hey they are probably legitimate. By calling will give you piece of mind, so you don't get screwed. Try to be as speciic as you can, especially where the seats are located. Ask for a guarantee, if they provide one and if the site is secure. Many of your coworkers have probably been to the city so get a few recommendations. Literally there are thousands of places where you can buy cheap new york city tickets but by doing your homework you will save quite a bit of money by getting your tickets early.
