A scholarship programme can include not only the aid economical but also the materials that the student needs to pursuit his career

. Furthermore, students can receive scholarships if they are from a different religion, gender or race. A special-student scholarship is granted for these types of students. Other programs include high scores at every level, but these are scholarships that only award students that have high scores at different classes. These are special scholarship programs for arts, athletics or for high performances in native language or forging languages.

These are scholarships that can be awarded to students in high school. Universities also give awards to their best students. Other than giving the special-student award, universities can also provide the student an economical aid. Furthermore, the preferential treatment can be granted to students by organizations or individuals. Mostly, the individuals that grant scholarships are owners of major companies and have an interest in the student as an employer.

Scholarships can be given even after graduation if the student had great scores, or if the student flows up a master program at the same university that he attended collage. These awards are specially given to people that have great grades throughout their college years.

Organizations or universities can also give a research scholarship to students that follow up a doctorial program of the university. Money is given to the student to conduct research and also to help sustain him throughout the doctorial program, provided that he does not have a job. Other research scholarships can be granted by the individuals that have an interest in the research. These scholarships can be long term awards, so that the student can achieve a good result after conducting the experiments.

The university can ask for the student to explain how he spends the money, and can have periodical evaluations of the student's project. The university can ask for its money back if proven that the student did not use the money for the purpose of research.
