Recent studies have concluded that most single fathers and mothers are reluctant to return back to school or go to college. Reasons for this include financial hardness, parental responsibilities and lack of time. President Obama has formulated the new Federal Pell Grant to meet halfway with the needs and difficulties of life of a single parent. The newly boosted federal educational grants are now available for funding online educational courses and tutoring programs. The grants can even pay for internet connection bills in some instances.

The free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) helps filtering out single mothers and dads who are eligible for receiving federal student aid. The FAFSA is universal for all schools and colleges who participate in the federal educational programs. The FAFSA is now available for applicants through the program's official web site. After filling the application form and presenting the required document, eligibility is accurately examined and applicants are noticed of whether or not they are approved after a period of about 6-8 weeks.

President Obama has started out his Presidency with a pack of gifts for the middle and low classed Americans. Scholarships for moms and dads have been boosted and are now available for more eligible Americans than ever.
