School Bullies - Signs Your Kid Is Being Bullied

If your child is acting strange, you might need to observe closely to know if he has become a victim of school bullying

. You need to handle them before the bullying situation becomes worse. Make it a point to constantly talk to your kid to build a strong relationship, this way, he will be more comfortable to share his experience in school, and that includes bullying. However, not all kids are keen to do share their experience with bullies. As a parent, its your job to explore the reason for your kids unusual behaviour whether or not he has become a target of school bullying.

If your kid is naturally shy and quiet, bullying can sometimes be overlooked. A child who feels hesitant approaching his parent would usually say everything is alright despite the fact that theyve become a victim of bullies and school bullying. There are times when youre not really listening to what theyre saying about the school bullies because youre mind is elsewhere. Because of this, your child doesnt feel comfortable approaching you. Eventually, he could become withdrawn and would lose interest playing with friends after school because of the constant bullying.

Once symptom of bullying in school is when your child prefers to be on his own and avoids the company of other kids. When this happens as a result of school bullying, you can encourage your kid to get involved with school activities. Its a good way to ease the loneliness of your child by mingling with other kids which could take his mind from the school bullies. When your child starts to have his own circle of friends, he will have a support group against bullying. School bullies can destroy the self-esteem of kids, but friends have the power to restore this. Still, always be there to provide guidance to your kid.
