However, there are many other awards in different fields: medicine, biology, education, etc. How to deserve a scientific award? Scientific awards are given post factum. They are usually granted for stunning discoveries or considerable contribution into some study's development. Thus, if you want to obtain a scientific award, you should work really hard, implement various researches, publish numerous articles revealing your bright ideas. In fact, publications play an important role in award winning, so do not be lazy and write a lot of relevant scientific articles. How to apply to a scientific award? As a rule, candidates for scientific awards cannot nominate themselves. So, you must have a lot of friends in scientific world to follow your career and nominate you when you do some remarkable discovery. To be serious, you can nominate someone, but you cannot apply for such awards. Well, you should only work hard. What is the nomination process? Different organizations or even individuals may nominate a scientist for some award. To do so they need to submit application information on their nominee. They should submit some personal information, reveal the importance of candidate's researches and enumerate the most significant publications of the candidate (of course, publications should be relevant in terms of the award program).
