A good researcher has to be attentive and accurate as well as rigorous and meticulous. One should evaluate ones abilities critically before choosing this career path.

The problem is that people have many misconceptions concerning the research activity and scientists themselves. Scientists from movies and works of fiction might distort the public opinion concerning this professional sphere. Some people consider most researchers to be outdated solitaries conducting experiments day and night. Going from one extreme to another, speaking about scientists, others might imagine ultra-modern laboratories equipped with the latest technological achievements. Deciding on a scientific career, everyone should get rid of widely spread misconceptions. It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. In other words, scientists like other professionals depend upon the level of development of society, from the one hand, and are aimed at satisfying its needs, from the other hand.

Measures to be imposed before becoming a scientist

1.Consider your personal interests and peculiarities. A person should enjoy working in a certain sphere for making progress.

2.It is possible to conduct a research of the labour market before deciding on a certain field. A person should strike the right balance between the social demand and ones inclinations.

3.Communication with experienced researchers could be useful for getting rid of misconceptions and weighing all pros and cons of this choice.
